CRA decided to revise and update the current Class License to include additional radio-communication applications such as Wireless Access Systems including Radio Local Area Networks (WAS/RLANs) Applications, Machine-2-Machine (M2M) applications, Radio Microphone Applications,  as well as further frequency ranges for other SRD categories.

In response to comments received during a public consultation conducted by the CRA over the period November 9, 2017 to January 4, 2018, the CRA has amended the Class License for the Provision of Public Telecommunications Services On-board Aircraft (first published on March 17, 2014).

The Minister of Transport and Communications has approved the extension of the term of the License of Vodafone Qatar for the Provision of Public Mobile Telecommunications Networks and Services (which was issued by ictQATAR on 29 June 2008) for forty years.

The Minister of Transport and Communications issued on 15 March 2018 amendments to the “License for the Provision of Public Fixed Telecommunications Networks and Services” which was issued to Vodafone Qatar on 29 April 2010 by ictQATAR. These amendments are related to Annexures E, G and K of the License.
