 The document on this page is the Advertising Code issued by CRA to monitor advertisements and promotions of related products and services in Qatar.  The Code clarifies the obligations of telecommunications service providers towards increased consumer protection.  The Code specifies how the CRA will ensure  compliance.
Qatar's first comprehensive e-Transactions and e-Commerce Law was enacted by Emiri Decree on Thursday, August 19, 2010. ictQATAR developed the law and conducted consultations on the draft law with the concerned government bodies and is now tasked with formulating the necessary regulations and orders.
