CRA has recently updated its National Frequency Allocation Table (NFAT) to reflect the outcomes of WRC-15, CRA has prepared a comprehensive frequency allocation document called National Frequency Allocation Plan (NFAP), this document has been recommended by Qatar National Spectrum Coordination Committee (QNSCC) and endorsed by H.E. Minister of Transport and Communications.
NFAP includes the NFAT as well as other important annexes and appendices (like, list of specific assignments, list of frequency bands for SRD applications, frequency allotment plans relevant to Qatar, International agreements, harmonized frequency bands/spots, etc.) and this will provide a transparent, non-discriminatory and predictable approach to spectrum management and to reserve appropriate spectrum for future innovative technologies.
NFAP is subject to periodical revisions in conformity with requirements which are imposed by new national and international regulations which refer to allocation of frequency bands.
