The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has completed an extensive audit of mobile networks to assess the improvements of the Quality of Service (QoS) levels offered by “Ooredoo” and “Vodafone Qatar”. The audit was conducted from September to December 2020.
The audit benchmarked some of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the services like voice calls, short message service (SMS) and data services which includes the latest 5G Radio Access technology offered by the service providers. The samples for the network audit were collected during busy hours on working days in different areas, streets and highways, major pedestrian.
