The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has issued the Regulation of Postal Quality of Service (QoS) Obligations.
The Regulation aims to set QoS standards and monitor compliance. A QoS regime is important to support of Qatar’s ongoing economic and social development.
The key objectives of the regulation are the following:
• Ensure transparency in which Service Providers (SPs) shall publish a set of QoS Metrics for each Postal Service at every point of sale from which that service is offered.
• Ensure compliance by monitoring the performance of SPs against the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set in the regulation.
